Folk Dance- State level competition

Modern Public School participated in the "Folk Dance- State level competition" organised by Manav Kalyan Sansthan.A team of 24 students- 20 dancers and 4 singers performed the vigorous 'Waghya Murli' folk dance from Maharashtra live with torches and lejim. Our school bagged the position in the first three schools out of more than 200 schools from Delhi NCR and the same was also selected for 'Common Wealth Games-2010' to be performed at one of the stadiums. Five students- Ayushi, Pooja Gupta , Swati Rathi, Karan Arora and Bhavik Sachdeva were also given special recognition for the same.
