Space@MPS

It is matter of great pride that Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh has been declared the Second Runner up for the world space week, 2009. The space week was celebrated in collaboration with Science popularization Association of Communicators and Educators (SPACE).

The school conduced 5 events and introduced an innovative gaming competition which was remarkably interesting and creative. The event gave an excellent exposure to the students enabling them to participate in various creative and logical activities related to space.

The achievement was only possible under the guidance of Hon’ble Principal Ms Alka Kapur and the Space Club Coordinator Ms Deepti Malhotra.

Story telling competition

Interschool story telling competition organized by TERI in which Saumya Jain of class VIII bagged Ist position and was awarded a trophy with cash prize of Rs.500.
School was awarded a Desktop for her wonderful performance in the competition.

Art Competition

In the ART COMPETITION held at Darbari Lal Model School,Pitam Pura
Organised by-Indus Quality Foundation, Surbhi Sharma of class XI won the 2nd position.
