MPS Shines Once Again in Ryan INMUN

Ryan International Schools, India organized the 9th Annual Session of Indian Model United Nations Conference 2009 in New Delhi on the theme “Courage to Change”.
It was an International competition wherein various schools participated and represented 120 countries of the world. They had done extensive study on the country they were representing. It gave a platform to the young minds to be aware of the global issues and find methods to tackle them through peaceful negotiations. The schools also had to submit a country profile of the country they were representing. This included the in depth study of the country presented alongwith other facts and figures. Five best country profiles were selected for the award. It is heartening to know that out of 120 countries Modern Public School got The Best Country Profile Award for the Second Consecutive year.

T.I.M.E. Quiz - An Achievement Indeed, Another feather in our cap

Triumphant  Institute of  Management  Education  conducted  quiz  competition at Sri Fort Auditorium on 23-11-2009.Two hundred  schools from Northern India each having 5 teams of 2 members each participated in this event.Out of a total of  2000 students , the students of Modern Public School after clearing all the rounds came to the position of first four. As a result the  team of Krishan Chopra and Sanchit Bhatia Class X   of MPS were declared as first Runners up for Northern India.There was only 5 point difference between the winning team of DPS Dwarka and Modern Public School.Our students were awarded cash prize of  Rs.1000/-  and an ipod each.

Supriya Gujral selected for participating in National Children Science Conference-2009

Supriya Gujral , class XII, has been selected for participating in National Children Science Conference-2009 to be held  from 27th  Dec. to  31st Dec. 2009 at  "Science City", Ahemdabad in  Gujrat.

MPS is one of the 8 schools selected from Delhi region for this event.

Distinguished  guests for the event will be H.E. Hon'ble President Smt. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil , Dr. A.P.J. Kalam and other  eminent scientists of India.

This program includes exhibition of science projects prepared by the students,culture exchange programs and a guided city tour for the participants.

It was an enlightening and an historical moment when 14 students of Modern Public School along with 6 Management and Staff members visited Rashtrapati Bhavan to meet H.E. . Hon'ble  President of India   Mrs. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil on 14th November,2009.

Delhi State Inter Zonal Athletic Meet 2009-10 held at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium , Bawana

Students of Modern Public School excelled at Delhi State Inter Zonal Athletic Meet 2009-10 held at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium , Bawana.
Manveen Kaur of class VIII got Ist rank and a cash prize of  Rs. 1000 in 400m run.
Akshay Bansal of class X got Ist rank and a cash prize of Rs. 1000 in  Jeveline Throw.
Manveen Kaur of class VIII got Ist rank and a cash prize of Rs. 1000 in 600m run.

Sunita of class X got Ist rank and a cash prize of Rs.500 in 4x100m relay.
Divyjyoti of class VIII  got Ist rank and a cash prize of Rs.500 in 4x100m relay
